Exploring the Digital Technologies Curriculum with iPad

On behalf of Apple Education Australia

Learning to code and exploring digital technologies in the classroom teaches students how to solve problems and work together in creative ways. We believe coding is an essential skill. So we’ve designed a new approach to coding that lets anyone learn, write, and teach it.

Join us for an exclusive workshop where you will:

  • Explore Teacher Guides, lesson plans, materials and guides to designed to assist you with this in the classroom.
  • Get hands on with activities mapped to the Western Australian Digital Technologies Curriculum.
  • Explore tools such as Sphero, Drones and other devices present in your existing STEM kit in a relevant, hands on way.
  • Explore how the Get Started with Code materials and Swift Playgrounds app for iPad can make learning to code these devices fun and interactive for your students.
  • Learn about free supporting resources to go further which are available through the Apple Teacher Learning Centre.
  • Learn why Swift is the best language for teaching and learning coding, and for app development.
